SERIES ONE BREW IMPROVER PACKS
The Series 1 Packs help beginning brewers brew beers
using mainly malt. Our Australian Pale Ale Pack is the most popular
with its exceptional head retention and creamy mouth feel. Adding
a Finishing Hops packet to the simmering wort will greatly improve
the 'nose' of the beer. Taking only five minutes lonnger to brew
than a "kit and kilo" brew, the Packs make much better
beer.

AUSTRALIAN PALE ALE PACK
Our most popular Pack. Malt flavor and long lasting, creamy
head with full rounded mouthfeel. ideal with the Coopers Pale Ale concentrate, especially
with a packet of Pride of Ringwood finishing hops. |

AMBER ALE PACK
Similar to the pale Ale Pack, but with some amber and dark
malt extract this is the pack to use with Amber, Dark Ale
and even Stout concentrates. |

WHEAT BEER IMPROVER PACK
Plenty of wheat malt extract for real hefeweizen character.
Tettnang finishing hops will improve the final beer. This
Pack, 20g of coriander seeds and the zest from an orange boiled
together for 15 minutes then added to the new Coopers Wheat
Beer concentrate will make a beer somewhat similar to a hoegaarden
wit. Add the finishing hops to the last 5 minutes of the boil.

EXTRA STOUT IMPROVER PACK
Plenty of dark malt extract for a gutsy stout. Great with
the new Coopers Irish Stout concentrate, top your fermenter
to 18L for a stronger, tastier stout. |

SERIES TWO WITH SOME GRAIN
Adding fresh grain flavor to the fresh hops really
increases the flavor of the beers you brew. Always steep the grains
no warmer than 70C, never boil them.
LO AND BRAU
Steep some cara-malts and boil some fresh fresh fresh Hallertau
plugs to brew a beer better than Lowenbrau. Use a lager yeast
and ferment cool. |

GETTING SERIOUS
Most Series 2 Packs need an hour long boil with up
to three hop additions--you may find boiling on a 3 ring burner
on a bench in the shed less likely to incur wrath from the spousal
unit!
DON'T FUGGLE WITH ME IPA
India Pale Ales were stronger, hoppier pale ales capable of
surviving the journey from England to India by sailing ship.
More hops in this than most other Packs, needs a can of pale liquid
malt plus IPA kit. |

OLD JOCKSTRAP
Makes a smooth strong dark Scotch Ale of 7.2%abv. This beer
will keep and improve for up to two years. Needs a can of light
liquid malt and a kit. Use the WY 1728 if possible, otherwise
Nottingham. Ferment cool. |

THEAKSTON OLD PECULIAR
A clone of the famous Theakston Old Peculier. Ton of grain,
mostly dark so cold steep overnight. Boil the sugar in a little
water untill the syrup changes color. Lovely toffee flavor.

WELSH DOUBLE DRAGON
A partmash of ale malt, crystal malt and torrefied wheat gives
a bitter with great hop flavor and lovely bready-grainy flavor

ADELAIDE SERIES
Any Pack whose name begins with 'Adelaide' belongs
in this Series. Our two lager Packs in this Series, Pilsener and
Oktoberfest, both require a small mash.
ADELAIDE BROWN ALE
The crystal wheat malt int his Pack makes a delightful English
style brown ale with a lovely light brown color. The NZ Styrian
Goldings hops are not bad either! Unique and exclusive! |

Any Pack with an American flag on the label belongs
in this Series. The American Packs are mainly distinguished by extensive
use of American hops, Santiam and Amarillo and others.
SEATTLE DARK BEER
Hmmm smooth and darkly malty, about the best beer you can brew
without a fullmash. The lovely and rather special dark grains
are balanced by extremely smooth, subdued bitterness. Unique.
