SERIES ONE BREW IMPROVER PACKS

The Series 1 Packs help beginning brewers brew beers using mainly malt. Our Australian Pale Ale Pack is the most popular with its exceptional head retention and creamy mouth feel. Adding a Finishing Hops packet to the simmering wort will greatly improve the 'nose' of the beer. Taking only five minutes lonnger to brew than a "kit and kilo" brew, the Packs make much better beer.

AUSTRALIAN LAGER PACK Crisp dry lagers, improved by adding Hallertau or Tettnang finishing hops.	$9.75
AUSTRALIAN PALE ALE PACK Our most popular Pack. Malt flavor and long lasting, creamy head with full rounded mouthfeel. ideal with the Coopers Pale Ale concentrate, especially with a packet of Pride of Ringwood finishing hops.	$9.75
AMBER ALE PACK Similar to the pale Ale Pack, but with some amber and dark malt extract this is the pack to use with Amber, Dark Ale and even Stout concentrates.	$9.75
WHEAT BEER IMPROVER PACK Plenty of wheat malt extract for real hefeweizen character. Tettnang finishing hops will improve the final beer. This Pack, 20g of coriander seeds and the zest from an orange boiled together for 15 minutes then added to the new Coopers Wheat Beer concentrate will make a beer somewhat similar to a hoegaarden wit. Add the finishing hops to the last 5 minutes of the boil.	$9.75
EXTRA STOUT IMPROVER PACK Plenty of dark malt extract for a gutsy stout. Great with the new Coopers Irish Stout concentrate, top your fermenter to 18L for a stronger, tastier stout.	$9.75

SERIES TWO BREW IMPROVER PACKS

Series Two Packs --fresh hop and grain flavors and aromas help you brew the tastiest beers you can brew with beer concentrates! Refer to the On-line Manual for brewing instructions.

SUMMER BLONDE Slightly dry and redolent with lovely Hallertauer hops. Just the ticket in summer!	$11.50
CZECH PILSENER Use a lager yeast and ferment this one in winter, add to a Coopers Pilsner kit to brew up a lovely Czech Pilsner spicy-hoppy fromthe fresh Saaz hops. Somewhat dry.	$11.50
PALE ALE Familiar English ale hops make this Pale Ale a snap to brew and a treat to drink.	$11.50
HEFEWEIZEN Plenty of wheat malt extract and some lovely Hallertau plugs make thit wheat beer sure to please everyone!	$11.50

SERIES TWO WITH SOME GRAIN

Adding fresh grain flavor to the fresh hops really increases the flavor of the beers you brew. Always steep the grains no warmer than 70C, never boil them.

LO AND BRAU Steep some cara-malts and boil some fresh fresh fresh Hallertau plugs to brew a beer better than Lowenbrau. Use a lager yeast and ferment cool.	$14.75
IRISH RED ALE Steep the grains to get that famous Irish Red color in this lovely ale.	$13.75
SUMMER STOUT The dark grains in this Pack, cold-steeped to avoid astringency, will enhance any kit stout. Not so roasty that it can't be drunk in summer, yet flavor galore!	$12.50
DOUBLE CRYSTAL PREMIUM ALE A Pack better fermented as a lager. Incredible perfumy aroma from the Crystal hops!	$13.50
DUNKELWEIZEN A dark wheat beer. Very popular Pack.	$14.50
EXTRA STOUT Put some great fresh roasty-toasty notes in your next stout. Cold steep the black grains in this Pack to avoid astringency.	$14.50
BROWN PORTER A nice brown porter, great to drink in summer, could be brewed in summer with some care.	$14.50

GETTING SERIOUS

Most Series 2 Packs need an hour long boil with up to three hop additions--you may find boiling on a 3 ring burner on a bench in the shed less likely to incur wrath from the spousal unit!

DON'T FUGGLE WITH ME IPA India Pale Ales were stronger, hoppier pale ales capable of surviving the journey from England to India by sailing ship. More hops in this than most other Packs, needs a can of pale liquid malt plus IPA kit.	$16.95
OLD JOCKSTRAP Makes a smooth strong dark Scotch Ale of 7.2%abv. This beer will keep and improve for up to two years. Needs a can of light liquid malt and a kit. Use the WY 1728 if possible, otherwise Nottingham. Ferment cool.	$17.95
THEAKSTON OLD PECULIAR A clone of the famous Theakston Old Peculier. Ton of grain, mostly dark so cold steep overnight. Boil the sugar in a little water untill the syrup changes color. Lovely toffee flavor. Needs a can of Morgans lager malt.	$19.75
WELSH DOUBLE DRAGON A partmash of ale malt, crystal malt and torrefied wheat gives a bitter with great hop flavor and lovely bready-grainy flavor and 5% abv.	$16.95
LONDON PROUD A partmash of ale malt and flaked maize. Makes a beer similar to Fullers London Pride.	$14.95
ROBUST PORTER Needs a can of light liquid malt. A combination of grains making for a great complexity of flavor. 6.6% abv. Not the same as the Adelaide Robust Porter!	$14.75

SERIES TWO PREMIUM PACKS

Designed to make great beers with little concession to cost. The "Adelaide" Series makes great UK and European style beers while the "American Flag" Series makes great American style beers.

ADELAIDE SERIES

Any Pack whose name begins with 'Adelaide' belongs in this Series. Our two lager Packs in this Series, Pilsener and Oktoberfest, both require a small mash.

ADELAIDE BROWN ALE The crystal wheat malt int his Pack makes a delightful English style brown ale with a lovely light brown color. The NZ Styrian Goldings hops are not bad either! Unique and exclusive!	$16.50
ADELAIDE EXTRA SPECIAL BITTER An extra Special Bitter full of flavor, with special grains and hops. Complex in flavor, not so strong you can't have two or three lovely pints in a session!	$16.95
ADELAIDE FESTIVAL ALE A dark English Mild. Strong, lavorsome, complex, slightly sweet especially in the aroma, fruity. Over 5% abv, like Milds used to be brewed. Needs a can of light liquid malt. Sure to please everyone!	$11.95
ADELAIDE AMBER ALE A strong amber colored English bitter. Nice mix of grains, add to Morgan's Amber Ale concentrate.	$19.50
ADELAIDE ORIGINAL PILSENER A mini-mash of pilsener and carapils malt, plus lots of lovely German style hops help you make a Pilsener better than you can buy.	$16.50
ADELAIDE OAT MALT STOUT A 1Kg mash of oat malt, Carafa Special malts and pale malt make a dream stout, silky smooth, nicely toasty but no hint of astringency or grain bitterness. I you like stouts you will wet yourself over this one! Radical as a chocolate stout! Unique.	$17.50
ADELAIDE ROBUST PORTER When the English Empire was at its height, Porters were made with brown and amber malts. This Pack looks back to those days. Strong, chocolate flavor from the amber malt, bit of brown malt bite. Puts hairs on your chest! Unique.	$17.50
ADELAIDE OKTOBERFEST Ahhh elegant Vienna, one of the first cities to start making lagers. This light-amber lager, restrained and malty looks to those days. 1.5Kg part mash of Vienna and specialty malts. Not cheap, but very worthwhile!	$21.95

AMERICAN FLAG SERIES

Any Pack with an American flag on the label belongs in this Series. The American Packs are mainly distinguished by extensive use of American hops, Santiam and Amarillo and others.

SEATTLE DARK BEER  Hmmm smooth and darkly malty, about the best beer you can brew without a fullmash. The lovely and rather special dark grains are balanced by extremely smooth, subdued bitterness. Unique.	$15.95
AMERICAN PALE ALE Crystal rye gives this pale ale a slightly too-dark color but also a fantastic malt flavor. Three additions of Amarillo hops add more flavor and heavenly aroma!	$16.75
AMERICAN BROWN ALE Bigger and hoppier than the English brown ales, this one has a delicious aroma from a special finishing hop. I love a beer where the hops sing out of the glass and bottle!	$15.75
