Look in the brewblog pages next week for a blog on malting millet, rice and sorghum etc for the brewing of gluten free beer.

I hope that that blog and this Category in the brewing forum offer a means whereby coeliac brewers can share tips about brewing the beers that they can drink.

Ive read the technique on this, and it seemed a little hard to follow. Is there somewhere else to try and understand the method.I think it was 'silly yaks' where I read that other one..

I seem to be able to follow point forms, but the other description seemed to ramble on a bit

Yeah, was hoping to have info to post in the blog but the silly yak has not come back with any info

You looking for general info on malting?

One of the guys at work's Dad has only just found out he suffers from this condition and he is not looking forward to giving up his beer. Sad Is there something for first time brewers to make something simple without going through all the mashing, etc?

I do believe Grain and grape in Melbourne has some stuff for coeliacs. Have a look at:

www.grainandgrape.com.au

I think tho you might need to do some malting and mashing.

Please let us know how you go.
